Magstand gives engineers a practical place to support a laptop, tablet, meter or diagnostic tool beside the equipment they are working on. Two independent magnetic brackets attach to suitable steel surfaces and can be positioned around cables, trunking and other site obstructions.

Designed for BMS, HVAC, electrical, controls and data-centre engineers, Magstand creates temporary support close to panels, cabinets and plant equipment. When the job is complete, remove the brackets, press the locking buttons and fold them flat.
HOW TO USE MAGSTAND
Set up in four controlled steps.
Assess the working environment and mounting surface first. Both brackets must be securely attached, correctly spaced and stable before any equipment is placed across them.
Select the surface
Choose clean, suitable ferromagnetic steel close to the work area.
Open and attach
Lock the first bracket open and firmly position its magnetic base.
Set the width
Attach the second bracket so the load will sit evenly across the pair.
Test stability
Confirm both hinges and magnetic connections are secure before loading.
LOAD & SAFETY GUIDANCE
Use the pair correctly.
The stated maximum vertical load is 14 kg for both brackets combined. Actual holding force depends on the mounting surface and how the weight is positioned.
Maximum-hold conditions
For maximum hold, use steel more than 5 mm thick and distribute the load evenly toward the rear of each bracket, nearest the magnets. Test the setup before every use.
Electrical and magnetic safety
Follow the site’s safe system of work. Assess exposed conductors, clearances and falling-object risk. Keep magnets away from magnetically sensitive items and follow equipment manufacturers’ guidance.

What buyers need to know.
What is included?
One order contains a pair of two independent Magstand magnetic folding brackets. The laptop and other equipment shown are not included.
What surfaces will Magstand attach to?
Magstand requires a suitable ferromagnetic steel surface. It will not attach securely to aluminium, non-metallic surfaces or many grades of stainless steel.
Is 14 kg the capacity of each bracket?
No. The stated 14 kg maximum vertical load applies to the pair combined and assumes the specified surface and load-position conditions.
How do I remove and store it?
Remove all supported equipment first. Hold the front of the bracket, tilt sideways to break the magnetic contact, then lift away. Press the locking button and fold each bracket fully closed.
Where is Magstand useful?
Typical applications include BMS control panels, HVAC systems, MCC boards, switchboards, data-centre cabinets, industrial plant rooms, workshops and other suitable steel infrastructure.
