What can Magstand attach to?
Magstand uses neodymium magnets and needs a suitable magnetic steel surface. It will not attach to every type of metal. Check your intended mounting surface and follow the product instructions.
Is 14 kg the load for one bracket?
The stated maximum vertical load is 14 kg for the pair combined. For maximum hold, the product instructions specify steel over 5 mm thick and weight distributed evenly towards the rear, closest to the magnets.
How small is it when packed away?
Each bracket is 300 mm long and folds down for transport. The pair weighs 0.80 kg.
